Your handle (the @name.bsky.social part) is an address on the AT Protocol. It only allows lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens: no spaces, no capital letters, no Unicode fonts. It cannot be styled, and that is fine, because the display name does the visible work. A display name can run to 64 characters, and styled Unicode letters are allowed in it.
